The most wonderful time of the year.....

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

This is my first post to our blog. There are only 5 days left until Christmas and the kids are getting anxious, but also getting over a virus. They're already starting to feel a little better today, so I'm holding out hope we don't have a sick Christmas. Tomorrow night we celebrate Christmas w/the in-laws, then we'll get ready to spend Christmas with my family this year. My brother is bringing home his girlfriend for the first time since I can ever remember, so that will be fun. The kids and I have had so much fun getting ready for Christmas this year. Church plays, fireworks, looking at Christmas lights, shopping, decorating cookies, baking, putting up the tree, etc. - they've really gotten into it this year. Of course, they will not go within 10 yards of Santa Claus. John Paul and Kathryn briefed me on what to tell him they wanted. Speaking of, all Kathryn wants in a baby Shrek. That is IT. I ask her if she wants two things and she says, no, just a baby Shrek. John Paul, on the other hand, has a list a mile long. And it's hilarious to read, since he sounded out the words and wrote them himself. Anyway, I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am while getting ready to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus!!
